"Bully" Film Response

Together, we created these possible response questions:
-How would you handle Alex's situation? Why?
-What you do in the parents' situation?
-How would you handle if your best friend committed suicide?
-Do you find this film powerful? Why and How?
-How can this film help a cause?

Apply active reading strategies to the film...

Strategy 1: Ask a deeper Question. Also Answer, "I ask this because" AND then "Is it because"
Strategy 2: Highlight (Showcase something that stood out to you and why)
Strategy 3: Give your opinion- why is that your opinion?
Strategy 4: Prediction- "I predict that......" "I predict this because....." (use evidence)
Strategy 5: Connection- Text to Text, Text-Self, Text-World (explain the connection in depth)
Strategy 6: Summary...be thorough
Strategy 7: Theme/Main Idea: Pull out what the moral of the story is...
